The fragrance
A sweet, suspended dream, interrupted only by the sounds of a train which is finally bringing us back home to our true love. Desire melts with the warmth of swing, giving life to the most romantic jazz serenade: Chattanooga Choo Choo. For Golden Serenade, Master Perfumer Julien Rasquinet composed an intense and precious melody, paying homage to this love song. A perfect blend of spicy notes of saffron and clove bud, played with intense hints of incense, are surrounded by a warm, enveloping atmosphere conferred by patchouli heart LMR. Animalic nuances of Oud oil LMR and the balsamic heat of opoponax, amplified by amber xtreme, meets the sweetness of vanilla. An extrait de parfum as powerful as the permanent mark left by a love dream.

Inspiration
A song which is a statement of emotions, dreams and hopes. A jazz serenade that celebrates ardor and true love, giving birth to the very first golden record in the history of music.
Unforgettable memories
10th February, 1942. Radio City Music Hall, New York City. On the corner of 50th Street and Avenue of the Americas, RCA’s seventy-storey skyscraper is the perfect stage for the artistic event which will leave an indelible mark on the history of music. Alton Glenn Miller and his orchestra start their performance by playing Chattanooga Choo Choo, a song composed in 1941 by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren . The song is finishes, the audience applaud wildly. Paul Douglas, RCA’s speaker, introduces Mr. William Wallace – RCA’s patron – who openly recognizes the incredible success of this musical masterpiece by gifting Glenn Miller with a 78 RPM vinyl record, entirely covered with gold. The first Gold Record in music history is born.
This historical success was reinforced by Sun Valley Being awarded as best soundtrack (from the movie Serenade, 1941) as well as Glenn Miller’s outstanding performance: his musicians were asked to play while thinking of the mood of a soldier who, once the war is over, is on a train heading home. Golden Serenade is a tribute to these feelings, celebrating the magic of a romantic love meeting. The perfect night meets love.

From music notes to olfactory notes
Exquisite and precious olfactive notes create an enveloping extrait de parfum. The powerful and intense Oud oil LMR conveys a sensual rhythm which interplays with loud hints of incense; the sentimental harmony is conferred by the blend of patchouli heart LMR and sweet notes of opoponax. Amber xtreme gives volume to the composition. Patchouli heart LMR and spicy notes of saffron and clove bud recreate a romantic imagery: it’s pure love.
"An amazing serenade, whose romanticism and tenderness sounds as precious as gold to the soul."
V-Monkeys, Always in Love
